Arctic Cat · shared OEM table · 2 manual P/Ns
Arctic Cat snowmobile EPS fault codes C1301–C1331 (2027)
The Power Steering section of 2 2027 Arctic Cat snowmobile owner's manuals publishes the same 30 EPS codes, C1301–C1331. This page lists them once, with the manual P/N and printed page for each book.
Scope note
This page covers the separate EPS table published in the 2027 600.858 and 4 Stroke Operator's Manuals.
The EPS table is not part of the main C/P/U diagnostic chapter. It runs C1301–C1331 with C1330 absent and prints one short description per row.
C1305 and C1326 both print “Rotor Position Encoder”; C1323 prints the “EPS OFF” gauge display; C1324 is loss of CAN communication with the EPS unit; C1331 is Configuration CRC.
The table prints no SPN/FMI pair, no fault-setting or healing condition, and no service procedure. This page preserves the printed labels and does not add those columns.
The older 29-entry Arctic Cat EPS table covers C1301–C1329 and is a different page; the 2027 snowmobile books add C1331.
Table profile
This page reproduces 30 entries from 2 model-year records (2027) and 2 manual P/Ns.
Rows keep the manual’s printed order, from C1301 to C1331.
The table uses manufacturer codes rather than SPN/FMI pairs. The printed codes group into 30 C-codes.
Every printed code carries one title in this table.
These counts describe the rows on this page, not every manual in the archive. The source box below lists the exact citation for every record on the page.
One EPS table, two books
The EPS table appears in the Power Steering (if equipped) section, not the General Information diagnostic chapter. The 600.858 and 4 Stroke books print the same 30 rows, C1301–C1331. The rows match entry-for-entry, so the page lists them once and cites both manuals.
What the 30 codes cover
The block is contiguous except for the missing C1330. The opening rows cover over-current and torque-sensor range and linearity. The middle rows cover rotor-position encoding, system voltage, temperature thresholds, vehicle speed, engine RPM, memory and CAN faults. The closing rows cover gauge state, voltage-converter errors, and configuration CRC. C1305 and C1326 both print “Rotor Position Encoder”; C1323 is the “EPS OFF” gauge display and C1324 is loss of CAN communication with the EPS unit.
Why this is separate from the 29-entry page
Arctic Cat also publishes a 29-entry EPS table, C1301–C1329, in the 2023–2027 off-road owner's manuals. That table does not include C1331. The 2027 snowmobile books add C1331 Configuration CRC and print 30 rows. Merging the two would either drop C1331 from the snowmobile page or add a row the off-road manuals do not print, so the two tables keep separate pages.
Where the table sits
The EPS table is separate from the main C/P/U table. A C13xx code belongs on this page; a C/P/U code belongs on the 600.858 or 4 Stroke main page. The page keeps the EPS rows separate so a C13xx lookup does not collide with the main sequence.
How to use this page
Record the exact C13xx code, choose the book, and note the manual P/N and printed page. The table keeps the manual's order. This page is a label index; it does not provide repair steps, parts advice, or a diagnosis for a specific machine.
Which manuals use this table
The table is shared; the manual citation is not. Use the P/N for your exact model year.
| Year | Model | Manual P/N | Source |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2027 | 4 Stroke (Pantera, ZR 7000/9000) | 653-00132 | Open manual |
| 2027 | 600.858 (Bearcat, HCR, HCX, M, XF, ZR) | 653-00110 | Open manual |
Model and year notes
These notes explain which systems matter on each machine. They do not add rows to the OEM table.
2027 600.858
The 600.858 Operator's Manual (P/N 653-00110) prints the EPS table on p. 17. The same book prints its main C/P/U table on p. 16.
2027 4 Stroke
The 4 Stroke Operator's Manual (P/N 653-00132) prints the EPS table on p. 15. The same book prints its main C/P/U table on pp. 13–14.
Full OEM table
30 entries from the shared OEM diagnostic table.
This table publishes one code and one description per row. The rows keep the manual’s printed order.
No entries match that filter. Try the code number, component name, or a word from the description.

Code prefixes in this table
This table uses the manufacturer codes printed in the manual. It does not print SPN/FMI pairs.
- C — 30 rows. C-prefix rows in this table are the EPS module’s C13xx codes.
The prefix is part of the printed code. This page does not assign a system meaning the manual does not print.
Reading the table
The code column gives the identifier the controller publishes: an SPN/FMI pair, a P-code, or another manufacturer code. The label column gives the short condition or component/failure text from the cited OEM owner’s manual.
A label identifies a monitored circuit or condition. It does not confirm that a named part has failed, and it does not establish whether the machine is safe to operate.
Write down the full code, the model year and model, and the conditions when it appears. That record is what the manual and a service provider use to match the entry to your machine.
Source note
This page publishes the printed code and short description labels from the public OEM owner’s manual, not the manual’s long-form repair prose. The source list below opens the exact owner’s manual for every manual in the group.
Scope
This is a label index. It does not provide repair procedures, parts advice, or a diagnosis for a specific machine. Codes can vary by trim, market, and running changes.
Common questions
What does this Arctic Cat snowmobile EPS codes C1301–C1331 table cover?
This page lists 30 code entries from the cited public OEM owner’s manual (2 owner’s manuals, 2 manual P/Ns). The table preserves the short condition or component/failure labels published in that owner’s manual.
Where can I check the source?
The source box at the bottom of the page gives the manual P/N, the model-year coverage, and a link to the OEM owner’s manual. The methodology page explains the site’s source and labeling rules.
