What to include

• Model year, model, and trim.
• The exact code and FMI shown on the machine or tool.
• The OEM manual number and page, if you have it.
• A photo of the display or manual table. Redact anything personal.

What this address cannot do

This site cannot diagnose a specific machine, recommend a part, or provide service procedures. For model-specific service information, use the cited OEM manual or a dealer. A code label alone does not establish whether a machine is safe to operate.

What happens to a correction

A correction is compared with the cited OEM chapter. If the chapter supports the change, the page and the changelog are updated. If it does not, the page stays as published. A reply may not be possible for every message.

Coverage requests

A coverage request is most useful when it identifies a public OEM owner’s manual chapter that contains a diagnostic code table. Include the model year, model, manual P/N, and a public URL if one is available. A request for a model year that has no public chapter can be recorded, but the page cannot be built from a generic code list.

The model hub lists the current coverage. A model year that is not listed may use a different table, or the chapter may not be available yet. The index does not merge a missing year into an existing page to fill the gap.

Privacy

Do not send a VIN, a home address, a payment detail, or other personal information in a correction message. A photo of a display or a manual table is enough. The privacy policy explains how correspondence is handled.
