Cookie policy

What this site stores in your browser, why it does so, and how to control it.

Scope

This policy covers cookies and local storage used on Powersports DTC. It applies to every page, including the model tables, guides, decoder, and site-information pages. It does not cover the practices of manufacturers, retailers, or other sites reached through an external link.

Cookies and local storage

A cookie is a small text record a site asks your browser to store. Local storage is a similar browser store that is not sent with every request. Both can remember a choice or distinguish a browser between visits. The site itself does not set a session cookie, an account cookie, or a shopping cookie.

Durations are typical values. Google controls the exact lifetime and may change it; check Google’s documentation for the current value.

Google Analytics 4

Analytics is provided by Google Analytics 4 under measurement ID G-DP3C5W54KB. The tag loads with analytics storage granted and advertising storage, ad user data, and ad personalization denied. The site does not display an analytics consent banner.

Google Analytics may process page URL, referrer, approximate location, device and browser information, and interactions with the site. The site does not send your name, email address, or decoder search text to Google Analytics. Google’s privacy policy and the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on explain its practices.

Advertising

No ad units are currently served. The site publishes an AdSense publisher record in ads.txt for verification only. If advertising is activated, Google and its partners may set cookies or similar identifiers to serve and measure ads, including personalized ads based on prior visits to this or other sites. Before that happens, this policy and the advertising disclosure will be updated, and readers in the EEA, the UK, and Switzerland will be shown a Google-certified consent management platform.

Controls

There is no analytics consent banner to reopen. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Most browsers let you block third-party cookies, delete stored data, or ask before a site stores anything. Blocking analytics cookies does not affect the code tables, the decoder, or the guides.

Google provides the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on for its analytics cookies. For advertising choices, Google provides Ad Settings. Industry opt-out pages include aboutads.info and youronlinechoices.eu. These controls are provided by third parties and are not operated by this site.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Browsers can send a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal. This static site does not sell personal information and does not run an advertising profile. The site does not use an analytics consent banner; browser controls and the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on are the available analytics controls.
