2027 Arctic Cat 4 Stroke (Pantera, ZR 7000/9000) fault codes

The 2027 Arctic Cat 4 Stroke Operator's Manual publishes one 76-entry diagnostic table for the Pantera 7000 and 9000 and the ZR 7000 and ZR 9000 Thundercat. The table is larger than the 600.858 table and adds turbocharger, boost-control, gear-shift, relay, and oil-pressure circuits. This page lists all 76 rows in the manual's printed order.

Scope note

Built from the 2027 4 Stroke Operator's Manual (P/N 653-00132), General Information / Diagnostic Codes, printed pp. 13–14.

The manual covers four models: Pantera 7000, Pantera 9000, ZR 7000, and ZR 9000 Thundercat. One table serves all four.

The table has 76 rows: 21 C-codes, 50 P-codes, and 5 U-codes. It has no FUEL OFF row.

The 600.858 and 4 Stroke books share 39 codes; the 4 Stroke adds 37 codes the 600.858 does not print, and the 600.858 adds 28. Each book keeps its own page.

The C1301–C1331 EPS table is separate, in the Power Steering section, and is covered on the shared snowmobile EPS page.

Table profile

This page reproduces 76 entries from the 2027 Arctic Cat 4 Stroke (Pantera, ZR 7000/9000) owner’s manual and manual P/N 653-00132.

Rows keep the manual’s printed order, from C1500 to U1212.

The table uses manufacturer codes rather than SPN/FMI pairs. The printed codes group into 50 P-codes, 21 C-codes, and 5 U-codes.

Every printed code carries one title in this table.

These counts describe the rows on this page, not every manual in the archive. The source box below lists the exact citation for every record on the page.

What the 76 rows contain

The C block has 21 rows and repeats the 2027 suspension-module pattern: shock stepper-motor stall detection at C1500–C1515, supply-voltage and checksum rows at C1520–C1522, coil A and B rows at C1523–C1530, and thumb and hand warmer rows at C1600–C1605. The 4 Stroke book prints the coil rows as “Coil A” and “Coil B”; the 600.858 book prints “Coil (A)” and “Coil (B)”.

The P block has 50 rows and carries the four-stroke engine and drivetrain circuits: turbocharger bypass, manifold pressure, intake-air and coolant temperature, throttle position, cylinder injectors, boost sensor and wastegate, knock sensors, ignition coils, idle-air control, oil pressure, system relay, control-module memory, shift and gear-position circuits, speed sensor, runaway prevention, pressure-sensor hoses, crankshaft detection, oil-pressure switch and sensor, reverse and forward relays, headlight relay, fuel-pump relay, and barometric pressure. The U block has 5 rows for suspension-module, gauge, registration, and handlebar-control communication.

The four models behind one book

Pantera 7000 and Pantera 9000 are the touring names; ZR 7000 and ZR 9000 Thundercat are the trail names. The manual prints one table for all four, and the table includes rows for features that may not be fitted to every model. The page keeps the full printed table rather than inferring a per-model subset.

How this table differs from the 600.858 table

The overlap is 39 codes: the 21 C-family rows and 18 engine or CAN rows. The 4 Stroke adds 37 codes, including P0034 and P0035, P0107 and P0108, P0120, P0201–P0203, P0237 and P0238, P0243, P0353, P0505, P0524, P0562 and P0563, P0601 and P062F, P0780, P0914, P0916 and P0917, P100A, P1106, P1236, P1335, P1520, P1522 and P1523, the P1689–P1696 relay group, and P1704 and P1705. The 600.858 adds 28 codes in the other direction. The 600.858 page lists that sequence; the two books have separate pages.

The 4 Stroke table prints P100A as the code for “Runaway Prevention System Activated.” In the PDF text layer the code and the first word are joined, but the printed cell is the five-character code P100A.

What the table does not include

The table prints a code and a short description only. It does not print an SPN/FMI pair, a fault-setting condition, a healing condition, a wiring diagram, a test procedure, or a parts list. The page therefore has no FMI glossary and no condition columns. It also does not expand a code into a repair step or a safety determination.

The EPS table is separate. The C1301–C1331 rows in the Power Steering section are published on the shared snowmobile EPS page, and a C13xx code belongs there rather than in this C/P/U sequence.

How to use this page

Record the exact code, confirm the model year and model name, and note the manual P/N and printed page. The table below keeps the manual's order, and the filter can search by code or by a word from the description. Use this page for the 2027 4 Stroke book; use the 600.858 page for the two-stroke 600/858 family.

This page is a label index. It does not provide repair steps, parts advice, or a diagnosis for a specific machine. Codes can vary by trim, market, and running changes, so the cited manual remains the source for the exact machine.

Reading the table

The code column reproduces the printed C/P/U code. The description column reproduces the manual's short fault description. The table has no SPN/FMI column, no condition or healing column, and no per-row printed page.

A label identifies a monitored circuit or condition. It does not confirm that a named part has failed, and it does not establish whether the machine is safe to operate.

Write down the full code, the model year and model, and the conditions when it appears. That record is what the manual and a service provider use to match the entry to your machine.

Source note

This page publishes short labels from the public OEM owner's manual chapter, not the manual's long-form repair prose. The source box below gives the exact chapter and model-year coverage.
