About

About Powersports DTC

A fault-code index for Polaris off-road vehicles and snowmobiles, with the cited OEM manual chapter attached to each table.

Publisher

Azmi Mhamed is the publisher of Powersports DTC. The work is to locate public OEM owner's manuals, extract the diagnostic tables, and cite each table to its chapter.

This is a reference project, not a repair shop, dealer, or service provider. The OEM manual is the source for your model year, trim, and VIN. Where a table is shared across models or missing from the public manual, the page says so.

What the site publishes

Each model page lists the short component and failure labels, the SPN/FMI or P-code, the model year, and a link to the cited OEM chapter. The page does not reproduce the manual's long-form repair prose.

When several manuals publish the same table, the table is published once with a model-year and P/N list. The 2022 RZR 200 page is an example of a shared table: its manual reuses a generic SPN table, and the page notes that a few entries do not map to the machine.

The source and data notes are on the sources page.

What the site does not do

  • It does not publish repair procedures or a safety determination.
  • It does not diagnose a specific machine from a code alone.
  • It does not sell repairs, diagnostic services, or replacement parts.
  • It is not affiliated with Polaris, BRP, or any manufacturer.

How to check a page

Open the source link at the bottom of any model page. Compare the model year, manual number, and code. If your manual shows a different label, the manual is the source for your machine. Model years, trims, and running changes can alter code coverage.

Corrections

If you find a mismatch, email [email protected] with the model year, manual number, page, and a photo of the code or table. Corrections are checked against the cited source before a page is changed.
