Decoder
Powersports fault code decoder
Search the published library by SPN/FMI or P-code. Pick a model or search all covered machines.
Examples:
Enter a code to see the OEM label, model coverage, and a link to the model-year source page.
What the decoder does
It matches your input against short component and failure labels from public OEM owner's manual chapters. It does not diagnose your specific machine, read live data, or replace a service manual. Codes can vary by trim and running changes.
How to format your code
- SPN/FMI: enter both numbers, such as
520194 3orSPN 520194 FMI 3. - SPN only: enter
520194to see every FMI listed for that circuit. - P-code: enter
P0123or just0123. - No match? The code may belong to a model year that is not in the index. A nearby code is not a substitute for the entry for your machine.
What a result shows
Each result lists the code, the short OEM label, the model and year where it is published, and the source page. When the same code appears in more than one table, the model filter narrows the result to the machine you selected.
The result is a table entry, not a diagnosis. It does not confirm a failed part, provide a test procedure, or establish whether a machine is safe to operate. The source page and the cited OEM chapter are the next references.
Source and scope
The decoder searches the same short labels used on the model pages. Those labels come from public OEM owner's manual chapters and are cited by manual P/N on the source page. The decoder does not read live data from a machine and does not include dealer-only or service-bulletin codes.
If the result does not match the display, compare the model year, the manual P/N, and the full SPN/FMI pair. Model years, trims, and running changes can alter the table.
