2027 Arctic Cat 400 (Bearcat, Jag, M, Pantera, XF) fault codes
The 2027 Arctic Cat 400 Operator's Manual publishes one 39-entry diagnostic table for six 400-class snowmobile models. The table is mostly P-codes, with four U-codes and no C-codes. This page lists all 39 rows in the manual's printed order.
Scope note
Built from the 2027 400 Operator's Manual (P/N 653-00129), General Information / Diagnostic Codes, printed p. 11.
The manual covers six models: Bearcat 400 LT, Jag 400, Jag 400 Special, M 400, Pantera 400, and XF 400.
The table has 39 rows: 35 P-codes and 4 U-codes. It has no C-codes and no FUEL OFF row.
38 of the 39 rows also appear in the 600.858 table. P2600, Coolant Pump “A” Control Circuit/Open, is the only row unique to the 400 book.
The 400 manual has no EPS table. The 600.858 and 4 Stroke EPS tables are covered on the shared snowmobile EPS page.
Table profile
This page reproduces 39 entries from the 2027 Arctic Cat 400 (Bearcat, Jag, M, Pantera, XF) owner’s manual and manual P/N 653-00129.
Rows keep the manual’s printed order, from P0112 to U1001.
The table uses manufacturer codes rather than SPN/FMI pairs. The printed codes group into 35 P-codes and 4 U-codes.
Every printed code carries one title in this table.
These counts describe the rows on this page, not every manual in the archive. The source box below lists the exact citation for every record on the page.
What the 39 rows contain
The P block has 35 rows. It covers intake-air and coolant temperature, throttle position, engine over-temperature, cylinder 1 injector, knock control, ignition coil A, exhaust temperature, oil-pump and injector programming, regulator and fuel-pump voltage, oil-pump outlier, speed sensor, knock activation, crank-angle sensor, exhaust-valve position and actuator, engine RPM, barometric pressure, P2600 coolant-pump control, and control-module shutdown. The U block has 4 rows: lost communication with the suspension control module and the LCD gauge, plus vehicle registration messages.
P2600 is the row that separates this table from the 600.858 sequence. The manual prints the description with quotation marks around “A” and a slash between “Circuit” and “Open”; the page preserves that text.
The six 400 models behind one book
Bearcat 400 LT and Pantera 400 are the utility and touring names; Jag 400, Jag 400 Special, M 400, and XF 400 cover the trail and crossover names. The manual prints one table for all six. The page keeps the full table rather than inferring which rows a particular model can set.
How the 400 table relates to the 600.858 table
The 400 table is nearly a subset of the 600.858 table. 38 of its 39 codes appear in the 600.858 sequence; P2600 is the only addition. The 600.858 book prints 28 codes that the 400 book does not, including the C-family suspension and warmer rows and the exhaust-valve, navigation-display, and P1004/P1261/P1264 rows. The 400 page stays separate because the book, model list, and citation are different.
What the table does not include
The table prints a code and a short description only. It does not print an SPN/FMI pair, a fault-setting condition, a healing condition, a wiring diagram, a test procedure, or a parts list. The page therefore has no FMI glossary and no condition columns. It also does not expand a code into a repair step or a safety determination.
This book has no EPS table. A C13xx code is not part of this sequence. The 600.858 and 4 Stroke books publish a separate EPS table on the shared snowmobile EPS page.
How to use this page
Record the exact code, confirm the model year and model name, and note the manual P/N and printed page. The table below keeps the manual's order, and the filter can search by code or by a word from the description. The 600.858 page covers the larger main table.
This page is a label index. It does not provide repair steps, parts advice, or a diagnosis for a specific machine. Codes can vary by trim, market, and running changes, so the cited manual remains the source for the exact machine.
Full OEM table
39 entries from the 2027 Arctic Cat 400 (Bearcat, Jag, M, Pantera, XF) owner's manual diagnostic table.
This chapter publishes one description line per code. The description column below keeps the manual's wording.
No entries match that filter. Try the code number, component name, or a word from the description.

Reading the table
The code column reproduces the printed P/U code. The description column reproduces the manual's short fault description. The table has no SPN/FMI column, no condition or healing column, and no per-row printed page.
A label identifies a monitored circuit or condition. It does not confirm that a named part has failed, and it does not establish whether the machine is safe to operate.
Write down the full code, the model year and model, and the conditions when it appears. That record is what the manual and a service provider use to match the entry to your machine.
Source note
This page publishes short labels from the public OEM owner's manual chapter, not the manual's long-form repair prose. The source box below gives the exact chapter and model-year coverage.

Common questions
What does this 2027 Arctic Cat 400 (Bearcat, Jag, M, Pantera, XF) table cover?
This page lists 39 code entries from the cited public OEM owner’s manual (Arctic Cat 2027 400 (Bearcat 400 LT, Jag 400, Jag 400 Special, M 400, Pantera 400, XF 400) Operator's Manual - General Information / Diagnostic Codes (P/N 653-00129; printed p. 11)). The table preserves the short condition or component/failure labels published in that owner’s manual.
Where can I check the source?
The source box at the bottom of the page gives the manual P/N, the model-year coverage, and a link to the OEM owner’s manual. The methodology page explains the site’s source and labeling rules.
